Desired Competencies
We are seeking an experienced Merchandiser with a strong background in the fashion footwear industry and hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating product development, managing production timelines, and ensuring the final product aligns with quality standards and market demands.
This role requires a deep understanding of fashion footwear trends, production processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage the product line for fashion footwear, working closely with design and production teams to create market-ready products.
• Oversee product development and sampling, ensuring alignment with design specifications and quality standards.
• Manage production schedules and timelines, coordinating with the manufacturing unit to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on current trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities in the fashion footwear industry.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source materials, negotiate pricing, and ensure quality consistency.
• Monitor inventory levels, analyzing sales data to optimize stock levels and product assortment.
• Ensure quality control at each stage of production, from raw material procurement to final product inspection.
• Prepare and present product reports, sales forecasts, and merchandising plans to stakeholders.
