We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team.

As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites and web applications.

Your expertise in WordPress development, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop custom WordPress themes, plugins, and templates to meet project requirements.
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other team members to translate design concepts into functional websites.
  • Customize and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins to enhance functionality and ensure compatibility.
  • Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code following WordPress coding standards.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance and a bug-free user experience.
  • Optimize websites for speed, performance, and scalability.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and external services as needed.
  • Maintain and update existing WordPress websites, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members on code reviews, architectural discussions, and problem-solving.
  • Assist in the deployment and maintenance of WordPress sites.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers when necessary.

Requirements


  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of WordPress-based websites and applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes, templates, and plugin development.
  • Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Experience with front-end development frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) and responsive web design principles.
  • Strong understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility.
  • Experience with debugging tools and techniques to identify and resolve issues.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and implementing SEO-friendly WordPress solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
  • Familiarity with other CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal, Joomla) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with other Ecommerce platforms (e.g., Woo Commerce, Big Commerce) is added advantage.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
